A curator\u2019s tour, an artist talk and a public reading are intended to reduce insecurities in the face of the unknown and apparently incomprehensible and to enable additional perspectives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tour\/gallery talk: Wednesday, 5 April 2017, at 11am, with Cora Althusmann<\/strong> (curator)<br \/>\nIndividual works will be discussed in greater depth during the curator\u2019s tour in order to help foster that immersion in the works and their artistic idiom sought by both artists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Artist talk: Thursday, 6 April 2017, at 7pm, with Volker Kirchberg<\/strong><br \/>\nDuring the artist talk, both artists\u2019 positions regarding art\u2019s influence on urban spaces will be explored in a discussion with Prof. Volker Kirchberg; links will also be established to his current research project: \u201cCritical Art(ist)s and Urban Development \u2013 A collaborative study comparing German and Israeli Cities\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paintings &#038; Poems: Sunday, 9 April 2017, at 11am, read by Isabel Arlt<\/strong><br \/>\nIn cooperation with the Literaturb\u00fcro L\u00fcneburg e.V., a public reading by the actress Isabel Arlt will be held as a finale. By listening to poems that influenced a painting, the painting process or the artist, viewers will be enabled to perceive an additional level of the exhibited object. Alongside visual scrutiny, this recitation will help to familiarise listeners with the multifaceted complexity of individual works and to point out paradoxes to them.
